List of recent Changes

This document informs about recent changes on the author's web pages.

August 01, 2002

• after reports on some uncertainties with the installation of the "PixelGraphics" package the corresponding instructions have been slightly updated;

July 31, 2002

• the (tentatively created) guestbook had to be closed again;

July 08, 2002

• upon request, the author has published an example for a PersonalJava program with graphical user interface;

June 11, 2002

• the author's Lua distributions for Win32 platforms now also include recent bugfixes for Lua 4.0;

May 08, 2002

• the first (and meanwhile updated) JavaScript-related contributions are available again. These include a JavaScript Experimentation Area and the "PixelGraphics" package with its own Experimentation Area, a "BouncingBall" demo and a little "Squash" game;

May 01, 2002

• the central table of contents has been extended in a few points;
• minor changes of the internal directory structure (with respect to future extensions). Afterwards, all internal links have been checked and corrected (if necessary);
• there are now also output examples for the author's experiments with Java Servlets and Java Server Pages - thus, you may have a look at the output of these experiments even if you dislike to install an HTTP server locally;

• the names of some files belonging to experiments with Java Server Pages had to be changed (because of the semi-automatic construction of the author's web pages);

• for a better overview of the actual planning for this web site, the author has begun to extend the central table of contents with additional levels. In order not to raise any (presently) unsatisfiable expectations, references to pages which contain keywords or overviews only have been marked with a small note (¹);
• documentation for some experiments with Java Servlets and Java Server Pages are available again;

• documentation of the author's Java applets has started,
• the first Lua modules have been documented;

• english translations of any of the author's Lua-related web pages are available,
• the author's Java Course has been made available again;

April 11, 2002

• an english translation of the Lua distribution for Win32 installation guide has been made available,
• a first Collection of Links has been published;

April 10, 2002

• a number of new programming examples have been published in the context of the Lua "Acquainting" series,
• mathematical thoughts on the implementation of a "Reed-Solomon Erasure Correction" technique in Java have been made available,
• the Lua distribution for Win32 platforms now also contains the additional LuaSocket modules for protocols such as ftp, http or smtp and auxiliary functions;
• you may now leave a message in my (tentatively created) guestbook;

• the first infos about Lua and the author's distributions of Lua, tolua, TkLua and LuaSocket for Win32 platforms have been made available;

April 4, 2002

• infos about Rhino are available again,
• the pages on Waba have been reorganized and extended by a section with Fragen & Antworten (frequently asked questions),
• both a german and an english feedback form provide the possibility to contact the author,
• the author's old web pages at T-Online now redirect any visitors to the corresponding new pages (thus, bookmarks set for the old pages won't point to "nothing");

• the author's Waba programming examples are available again;

• public demand for the author's compilation of a BeOS device driver for Matrox graphics cards has been used as an opportunity for publication of the first HTML documents on the author's private internet domain (www.Andreas-Rozek.de);
